At Comfort Research we invest ten percent of our profits into our community, typically to help kids and other disadvantaged populations. Here in Grand Rapids we have an amazing organization called Gilda’s Club (named for the late comedy legend Gilda Radner). Gilda’s provides support for those who are going through the cancer journey or have a loved one affected by cancer. They also just reach out to those that are grieving – all for free.
The Yung Joes, our intern group at Comfort Research, took it upon themselves to challenge us to give our time in addition to donations for this worthy cause. We had over 30 people volunteer on-site at Gilda’s Club to invest their time to make a difference in the lives of others.
